خلاصـة

تم دراسة عينات مختلفة من تربة لعدد من محافظات مصرية لبيان وجود أنواع من الكائنات الدقيقة المنتجة لمضادات البكتريا باستخدام بيئات تساعد على نموها. تم عزل ثلاثة عترات من ميكروب الاكتينوميسيتس و قد تم اختبارهم و تبين قدرتهم على إنتاج مواد مضادة للبكتريا. تم دراسة الخواص الكيميائية والفيزيقية للاستربتوميسيس أورينتالز المنتجة للفانكوميسين والظروف الملائمة لنموه و كذلك حساسيته لأشعة جاما.

ABSTRACT

Soil samples obtained from different governments in Egypt were analyzed to determine the presence of types of antibiotic producing actinomycetes using starch-nitrite agar, starch-casein nitrate agar and Czapek’s Dox agar as culture media. Different Streptomyces spp. were isolated. The Streptomyces (S.) isolates encountered were S. violochromogens, S. violaceus-nigar and S. orientalis and known as standard Vancomycin producers.

The optimum conditions of S. orientalis; incubation period, initial pH and incubation temperature, were determined. In addition, physical properties; appearance, melting point, solubility, mass spectrophotometer of ultra violet (UV) and the effect of gamma rays, were also determined.
